As you will know, the Government has announced that all four local authority areas in South Yorkshire, which includes Barnsley, will move into the stricter Tier 3 regional measures from Saturday 24th October.
We would like to reassure our customers that these new restrictions will not impact the flexible and remote services we currently provide to you and your business operations. The only change we need to make is for equipment receipt and returns out to you. We need to reduce this to two days each week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will help us to maintain our commitment to a five-day delivery service back to you.
When returning equipment to us, please arrange for delivery to our offices on either a Tuesday or Thursday and provide us with the tracking details in advance. This will assist us with identifying which customer devices are being returned to us each week, to ensure we meet our return delivery targets to you.
If you are unable to send equipment to us on these nominated days, please use a Royal Mail or Parcel Force service. This will allow us to collect any undelivered parcels from our local distribution centres.
Putting these measures in place, will allow us to continue to work safely, securely, and remotely from home, with only a minimal requirement to visit and check the office. The continued success we achieve with remote working, is helping to inform our thinking and decision making for future resource and development planning.
We continue to operate as we have been doing since March this year. We have seen increased productivity, improved employee engagement and more productive communications between ourselves and you, our customers. We have seen that working remotely is not a barrier to providing our customers with their required levels of support. If you would like to find out more, please do get in touch.
We will continue to review this arrangement, to ensure that it does not have an adverse impact on your business operations and soon as these new restrictions are lifted, we will let you know.
